HausWerk started as part of the PalettenWerk group – a leading woodworking company and one of the largest manufacturers of wooden pallets in Europe. It has been operating and serving both global corporations and local customers for 30 years. Thanks to the reputation, stability and annual increases, we are constantly investing in the development of our offer and our heavy timber frame construction technology.
Our activity on the house construction market began with two intensive years of research and development carried out in cooperation with the Krakow University of Technology and the Małopolska Centre for Energy Efficient Construction, as well as experts and representatives of industry institutions. These works resulted in the creation and patenting of solutions ensuring, on one hand, stability and durability of the structure, and, on the other, energy efficiency, which exceeds the accepted standards, while reducing construction time. As part of the project, we equipped our assembly and warehouse facilities with a rich machine park, which allowed for the automation of production and the creation of prefabricated elements of our houses with the highest precision. For our activities in the field of science and entrepreneurship, we have been distinguished against other research projects with numerous awards and recognized as one of the best implemented projects of this type. We are an active member of the leading industry associations related to energy-efficient timber construction, including the Galician Chamber of Construction, the Association of Energy-Efficient Prefabricated Houses and the CleanTech Cluster.
